What is Metabolic Typing?
Metabolic typing is a way to discover what food your body needs to nourish it completely. This is not a catch-all "diet", nor is it a one dimensional assessment like eating lots of meat because you're blood type is O. Through an in-depth questionnaire we will determine the best fuel for your needs, and with follow up counseling sessions that list gets fine tuned until you have a group of perfect foods for your personal type. All aspects of your life are taken into consideration, and recipes will be tailored to match your culinary abilities.
The typing involves three basic groups - Carb, Protein and Mixed. Within these categories are innumerable sub-categories. You may test in the Mixed group, but lean slightly towards the Protein group. You could be a strong Protein type, in need of high purine protein, or you could be a more mild Protein, with poultry and fish being your source. Some people are fine with just a cup of coffee for breakfast; some need a more substantial base to their day. The variations are nearly endless, which is the true beauty of our biochemical individuality. We may all be human, but what makes us truly us is different for everyone.
